The response to PBS Television’s Our Ohio program that featured the College’s Community Gardens project was so positive that Cincinnati’s PBS station, WCET-TV, invited the College to be featured on its 30-minute community affairs program.
A trio of persons with ties to the Grow Food, Grow Hope initiative will be featured on the program Focus Thursday (Nov. 4), at 7:30 p.m., and Nov. 7, at 12:30 p.m.
They are Monte Anderson, professor of agriculture; Tara Lydy, director of the Center for Service and Civic Engagement; and Randy Riley, Clinton County Commissioner.
While the segment of Our Ohio that aired in September dealt exclusively with the Community Gardens, Focus will spend its entire 30-minute program on the broader Grow Food, Grow Hope, as well as discuss it more thoroughly within the context of Clinton County’s economic challenges.
