Wilmington, OH— On October 30th, Grow Food Grow Hope held their fall garden clean-up session. Due to frost, we had to end the fall growing season. We would have liked to continue growing but it frosted sooner than we had suspected. We were fortunate to have a couple of volunteers to come out and assist us with the garden clean-up. We collected the following produce and donated it to Sugartree Ministries: Brussel Sprouts, Red Russian Kale, Red Leaf Lettuce, Cabbage, Swiss Chard, and Bok Choy.
We will begin growing again in the spring and if you or you know of anyone that is interested in gardening, go to growfoodgrowhope.com and fill out the gardening membership form under the programs tab. Thanks for a great growing season everyone. Be careful this winter! Can’t wait to see everyone back in the spring!
