Located on the Wilmington College campus, the Grow Food Grow Hope Community Garden is a teaching ground for learning the basics of small-plot gardening.

From April till October, families and individuals partner with an experienced Garden Mentor to tend 40 garden plots and learn what it takes to grow their own food in a healthy, productive and sustainable way.

Throughout the growing season, Mentors and volunteers lead the gardeners through lessons on everything from home composting to pest control and successive planting. The also provide cooking demonstrations and engage children through gardening activities.

The Grow Food Grow Hope Community Garden is free for all participants. All material costs and resources are provided for by Grow Food Grow Hope.
